The Formation Project is a survivor-centered, anti-trafficking non-profit based in Charleston, South Carolina. Our vision is a world where no person is bought, sold, orexploited. We are accomplishing that by building a resilient community, free from exploitation.

We serve adults and transition-aged youth (18+) who have experienced human trafficking and/or exploitation, regardless of gender, immigration status, or sexual orientation.

Community is based on shared experience; if shared experiences are traumatic ones, then the community must also be based on healing.

The Formation Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in Charleston, SC.
